Dust off those ice skates and bring them to the Brooklyn Park Community Activity Center for a glide on the ice!  Valentine skating is from 2:15-3:45PM... wear something red and get $1 off admission!  (Adults: $4, Youth: $3.)  Meet at the Brooklyn Park Community Activity Center, 5600 85th Ave. N., Brooklyn Park.  (Limited skate rental available for $3.)

All youth are invited to test their mettle on a pair of snowshoes!  We'll be exploring the open fields behind Penny Bearson's house.  Wear gloves, as I suspect a snowball fight may break out!  Have some snowshoes lying around that we can borrow?  Please bring them along!

Youth will be working together as a team, racing through parks with GPS's to find caches.  There is a pizza party at the finish line and t-shirts for all participants.  Please RSVP to Becky Alban for registration ASAP... we'll pay the entry fee with donations from Souper Sunday.  The race begins at 9:30AM... be at the Brooklyn Park Community Activity Center, 5600 85th Ave. N., Brooklyn Park, around 9:15AM. 

Spring has sprung and it's time to spruce up our adopted park!  Youth will meet over at Eveland Fields (west of Andover High School) right after church.  We'll clean for an hour, then enjoy a picnic lunch and a pickup baseball game.  Bring your baseball gear!

Put your frisbee skills to the test by joining us for disc golf!  Elm Creek Park Reserve has an 18 hole disc golf course just waiting to be mastered!  We'll make our way through the course between 2-4PM.  Cost is $3, kids 11 and younger are free with a paying adult.  Meet at the chalet at 2PM:  12420 James Deane Parkway, Maple Grove.  (No parking sticker required.)

Love to solve puzzles?  Then you'll love letterboxing!  Follow a sequence of clues out in your natural community to discover a box with a special stamp.  (Think Sherlock Holmes Goes Naturalist.)  Most stamps reflect the boxer's personality.  Carve your own from an eraser, purchase one at a local craft store, or simply draw your identity into the box's journal.  Bring your stamp, a memo pad (or several pieces of paper stapled together for a stamp journal), and your mad logic skills.  Meet at Becky Alban's house at 12PM.
